Each winter, Maine Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) members come together to deliver free heating fuel to local families and individuals who are facing financial hardship. Fuel Your Love is a member-driven community outreach program designed to provide warmth, comfort, and peace of mind during Maine’s coldest months.

What Is Fuel Your Love?

Fuel Your Love connects Maine energy marketers with neighbors in need. Participating companies donate heating fuel directly to selected households in their service areas, ensuring recipients can stay warm when they need it most.

This program is made possible entirely through the generosity of MEMA member companies who volunteer their time, trucks, and fuel to give back to their communities.

How It Works

• Local outreach – MEMA works with member companies and community partners to identify households in need.
• Fuel donations – Participating energy marketers donate heating fuel.
• Delivery day – Fuel is delivered directly to recipients’ homes, often accompanied by local media coverage highlighting the impact.
